Poker Night. Since there seems to a lack of casino games on the Neo, I
figured I would whip up a quick video poker game. The basics are in here, but
there are a couple small features that I want to add down the road.
Since finding an artist to work on "free" hobby games is pretty hard, I had to
create almost all of the graphics in this game myself. Although I'm no
artist, I think I did pretty good. The bank/bet digits were taken from
a set of Amiga demo fonts. I'll make my own shortly. These are
in as a placeholder. Also, to add a little touch to the game, I
replaced the Neo boot sequence with my own.
I'm releasing this before I get to adding more game features. Once I get some
basic sound fx into the game, I'll work on the game a little more. My plan is
create a series of casino games as a single rom set and allow the player to
choose the game to play from a menu.
